Caru Skincare Co has been one of my favorite natural, handcrafted skincare brands from the moment I tried their products. The first soap I tried from their line was the French Green Clay Organic Face + Body Soap, which I absolutely love. When I discovered their Activated Charcoal + Dead Sea Salt Organic Face Soap, I was beyond impressed with the results... it's perfect for your face, but can also be used as a body soap as well. I'm obsessed with the scent too! It's subtle and refreshing, with sweet, musky notes and a citrus undertone.
Here's what make this bar so incredible...
Activated Charcoal — its detoxifying properties work to gently draw out any impurities from your pores, leaving your complexion feeling fresh, clean and balanced without drying out your skin.
Dead Sea Salt — this is packed with skin nourishing minerals, and it also doubles as a gentle exfoliant when you apply the bar directly to your skin, rather than lathering it in your hands.
Tea Tree Essential Oil + Neem Oil — these both kill bacteria and microbes, making it ideal for combination, blemish prone or excessively oily complexions.
All of Caru Skincare Co's soaps are handmade from 100% all natural ingredients. They incorporate organic or wildcrafted ingredients from sustainable sources as often as possible, and never add any preservatives, artificial ingredients, or fragrances.
One of my favorite things about Caru Skincare Co's products, is their packaging. Not only is it beautifully designed, but it's handmade label is biodegradable and created from 100% PCW paper embedded with seeds! Plant it and watch it grow, or make seed bombs out of it! You can purchase this particular bar, and any of Caru Skincare Co's other soaps directly from their website for $9/each; which is a great price given the quality of ingredients, and size of the bar... not to mention the amazing, sustainable, seeded packaging!
I'll be reviewing their unique Rock + Rose Organic Toner soon so stay posted! In the meantime, if you're interested in learning more about Caru Skincare Co, visit their website, and be sure to follow them on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr and Etsy!
